Abby... A Post You Might Like On My Blog

Abby in the Hospital

Abby is still in the hospital and looks like she will be for a while. We don't know much more today than yesterday, but later this evening, we'll put up the Daily Update on Abby and tell you what we do know.

We appreciate all your kind prayers and notes of encouragement. I know Michelle especially appreciates your comments and notes since she is stuck up there all the time while I shuffle back and forth.

Brent's Blog

Over on my blog, I just put up a post talking about evolution, blind faith and supposed "mistakes" that prove God is a fairy tale.

If you like that kind of information/discussion, you'll find it on my blog today. I keep that kind of writing over there: advice, answer questions, controversial Christian issues... our family blog is not the right forum for that kind of blogging and I've been doing it for years on my "Brent blog".

You can sign up to be notified when I post something on either BrentRiggs.com (my blog) or SeriousFaith.com (my Bible teaching site) if you want.

Just wanted to let you know since we get a lot of new readers every week.

Blessings,
Brent

I cannot imagine watching my child suffer as much as you guys have had to. I pray for comfort and peace over her little body and continued strength to you, Michelle and Brend, and your whole family.
God bless you.

So sorry for Abby ... she's in my prayers.

I was wondering if you could help out, if you know of anyway to get the story out there a little more. It's for a friend of mine ...

She has leukemia. She's been in and out of the hospital for the past year and recently had a bone marrow transplant. They just found out she's relapsed. She has a one year old at home. She's just been admitted to the hospital again and in need of blood.

Her site is private due to the rudeness of people. Here is the link ... http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/clairethomas

Thanks for reading this ... and hopefully some people will be able to help, even just prayers.

We will continue to pray for sweet Abby and your family. I bet she is still smiling even though the pain! Thanks for the updates. Then I know what specifically to pray for. Since Michelle likes praying for others can you please pray for these guys? http://www.kayleighannefreeman.blogspot.com/ They are being attacked pretty bad by Satan right now and could use all the prayers they can get! Thanks!

Thanks so much for the info. I am a full time Nursing student and have one professor who is very anti Creationism. I just wanted you to know that both of your blogs have really encouraged me. We are praying for Abby and for your whole family. Thank you so much for allowing people to share in your journey.

Hi Michelle and Brent,

I've been reading about your sweet little Abby, and I'm so sorry she's not doing well. I read about the sores she's suffering from right now, and am wondering if the diaper cream my sister uses for my nephews would help her. My nephews have extremely sensitive skin, and if they have one bad diaper, their skin actually blisters and gets big sores on it. My sister had tried everything and nothing worked until she tried this diaper cream from Arbonne. She said it's miracle cream and even when the boys had the roto virus she put it on their blistered little bottoms and they were healed by morning. The cream is all natural and hypoallergenic. I know she has an extra un-opened/sealed tube of it that I can overnight to you. My sister swears by this, and if it could give any relief to Abby, it would be wonderful. If you'd like me to send this, please e-mail me at afrakes@premier.us with where to send it. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.
Angie =)
