Abby is starting to trudge down that hill that usually lands her in the hospital for a week. I got her to smile only because we mentioned "Travis" her "boyfriend" on the cover of Serious.Life Magazine.
You can really see it in her "stare" here, and this was me trying
really hard to get her to smile.
Momma said, "Abby, smile for Travis" and... there ya go.
I'm jealous.

I LOVE LOVED your explanation of spanking last post. That is exactly how we do it too, and are 100% confident it is Biblical and worth the time it takes. We say if he doesn't walk away smiling we did it wrong. That sounds so bizarre to some people, but spanking isn't to make your kids mad and angry and pouty...it is to show them that they have crossed a boundary, bring them back, and restore the relationship.
