A strange Monday, after a strange weekend.
Saturday started out just fine with some good friends coming over for lunch and then taking Landis with them to a basketball game. Then the day fell apart within hours.
I (Brent) think I got food poisoning or something and spent the next 40 hours doubled up on a loveseat. Garret (16 yr old son) got something similar but wasn't even at our house. He was over at his Grandmother's.
Sami got busted in the head with door. Michelle got sick. Abby started getting headaches again.
Somehow we survived until today. Didn't think you would get rid of us that easy, did you? Update on Abby later. Her headaches got so bad we had to take her to the hospital. Here are some random pics while we try to get our feet back under us.

Oh Brent and Michelle - I'm so sorry your were all hit hard this weekend. Praying that you are healed and remain well in Jesus name!
We are really suffering with a flu - all 10 of us have it. I thought we were getting better last night and event his morning but by the middle of the day 8 of us were starting with fevers again and we can't get past our cough.
When I began to feel bad precious Abby came to my mind and even now it makes me cry that her tiny body must endure so much pain day in and day out...without knowing when it will get well. I pray that today as this headache began it leaves just as quickly and that God works another miracle for your sweet girl and your family!
Everything we go through is a tiny blip compared to what life is like with a child who has to endure such a huge season! Sending many hugs and love!

So sorry for the weird weekend! Hope everybody is on the mend! You have some seriously cute kids! Spidey Landis just cracks me up and I loved seeing him do his pose in the video over the weekend!!

Hope everything returns to "normal" soon and everyone begins to feel better. I have been reading and praying for Abby and your family some time now and think the world of your wonderful family. I love seeing all of the pics of the kids but I have to say that Sami is absolutely gorgeous. Every time you post a picture of her I think to myself how you will have to beat the boys away from her! What a beauty!!

Can you hook me up with the person that makes Abby's hats - I think they are cute and I'd like to make some and take them to our local children's hospital. I looked online and in the store for a pattern for these fabric hats but couldn't find one.

I usually come to this site to check up on Abby and see how she's doing. However, I always enjoy reading about all the other kids and the funny things that happen, etc. But, I just wanted to say... Sami just seems like such a great big sister. Abby is just so lucky to have her in her life. :)

I know what you mean about being sick. My son(Cody) was sick last weak, he's just finishing up anitibiotics. I woke up this weekend felling yucky, now I've got to crud! Now it's hubby's turn.

First of all, so sorry about the challenges this week.
Second, your pictures are ALWAYS fantastic. I'm sure you must hear that ALL the time, but I just had to chime in. Now, I think some of it has to do with the ADORABLE subjects. But still, you have a gift!
We LOVE the pictures! Our boys are both obssessed with Spiderman (they are both deaf) the "web hand" that he makes is the same handshape for "I LOVE YOU" in american sign language...make a fist then let your thumb, pointer and pinky out...
They loved the Spiderman outfit!
So sorry everyone felt terrible this weekend...hope everyone is feeling a little more up to par now...keeping you all in my prayers!
