SpideyLandis turns the hospital chair into fun.
Abby was so happy to see him.

Abby is sleeping peacefully for the first time in s few weeks.
When she is in a lot of pain, she makes all sorts of noise, cries
and moves around alot. Here she was sleeping soundly even
with all of us in the room carrying on.
Notice the "Love Wall" in the background.

Abby is so beautiful. It's probably the mother in me, but whenever I see children sleeping so sweetly I just melt. Landis is adorable:)
I hope your family has a great weekend.
Abby does look so sweet and peaceful. I'm glad she is more comfortable able to get more rest.
Now for Mom and Dad.

Sweet baby girl! So glad to hear she is resting peacefully! That is what I've been praying for!
Hugs!
Thank God for peaceful rest! She does look so restful. Glad Landis got to visit her too!
sweet dreams sweet Abby :)
She is such a beautiful princess!! I love when kids sleep- they are just so peaceful.
Landis looks like SUCH a fun kid!
She's beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing your family with us. You are an inspiration. Praying for all of you.
I am so happy she is doing so much better....I hate those times where they sleep so fitfully because they are in so much pain.
Gavin did that a few nights ago, and it lasted til 3 am. He kept kicking his legs, and squirming around and moaning in pain (and he is in our bed so you know we were awake too). A few hours into it he would wake and scream hysterically for a couple hours before going back to sleep and starting the whole process over again. It's unbelievably awful. Awful doesn't even do the description justice.
I'm praying for sweet Abby, and hoping that this kind of excruciating pain will be something of the past for her....and I'm also praying for catch up sleep for all of you. I look forward to the day that you will all get to be at home together. I hope that is sooner rather than later, and I hope she will be well when you guys finally do.
Thanks for praying for my little guy--when you posted his button, I got 2,400 visits to my blog!!! It is so encouraging to know that so many are praying. It's nice to visit other blogs and see our prayer button. I hope for that much support when surgery time comes.
We are scared of the whole thing--you know, since they are taking out his stomach and all, and he has another disease that makes him start going into shock when he has anesthesia. We are having a hard time letting the whole thing penetrate into our minds.
I am thankful that even though we both walk through scary awful times, we have each other to walk through with. The Lord is good for so many reasons, yet the fact that He always gives us others to walk the difficult path with has always been one of my favorite things about Him.
Take Care and have a great weekend....(((Hugs)))

Abby still amazes me each and every day. Her strength is something that amazes me and I am so grateful that she has amazing parents.

Sweet Dream Abby...
Such a sweet girl.
I am thinking about you all and lifting you to the Lord.

What an eye opener to realize that "Left Out" was a 14 year old boy. I think it is a good lesson for us all, that on the internet we don't know who is writing the comment. We all assumed it was a griping adult, when it was a young man looking for guidance. Who knows, perhaps "Oncology RN" was just a teenager who thought you can send back adopted kids (because what kind of adult would seriously think that...?)
Great to see Abby getting better!!!
