Abby's temperature is now 103.2. She now has green drainage coming from her g-tube wound. I am more concerned now than I have ever been for Abby.
We would appreciate it if you pray and others to pray as well.
I know I twittered that Abby's' doctors were considering taking her g-tube out, but now it looks like it will need to stay in. The surgeon thinks that he will need to surgically remove the damaged tissue, but he believes he will be able to keep the gastric tube in the same spot. But, they won't be able to perform the surgery until her blood work improves.
The wound is getting more painful, even though she is on a LOT of pain medicine, it is draining large amounts of green fluid and it has a strong odor (not a good sign). Abby is worried about the drainage and so are we. This development is scary.

I am so sorry to read your report and find this out about Abby. My heart aches for that baby, she is suffering so much. I know that it is through the strength that God gives you that you can hold up under this.I am a stranger to her and it is affecting me deeply, i cant imagine being her Mommy. Being a nurse i know you understand exactly what is going on and how dangerous each change with Abby is, and i am praying hard for you as well.I know the days and nights are long for you, watching and caring for her and not being able to help her get better. God knew that you and Brent would take the best care of her and that is why He placed her in your family.It is so hard to watch an older love one suffer with cancer, but a child like Abby, so heartbreaking,

Praying for dear, sweet Abby!! Dear Lord Jesus, wrap your loving arms around little Abby and give her extra strength to fight the battle that rages in her body. Give the drs and nurses that are caring for her the knowledge they need to help her little body heal itself so that she can once again be home with her loving family. I read your blog daily but I have never commented. I am on bended knee praying. We are catholic and our priest has the church open extra hours right now for Lent season and I will take my family tonight so we can pray for Abby. I have had a sick child and I understand how powerful prayer is. Please know you are in our hearts and prayers. God is powerful and will embrace you all.

Just in the book of Luke again... where Christ
is the "Great Physician". Luke chapter 7: ( about
a man who is healed far away.... it is the slave of
a Roman army captain. Jesus doesn't even have
to go to the slave to heal him, because the army
captain's faith is so strong... and he knows that
Jesus can just speak and heal his slave).
So we know that we can claim healing for Abby
in the name of Jesus no matter how geographically
far we are from her. So I pray for healing now...
for the infection to disappear, for her temperature
to lower, for her body to produce healthy cell
growth, and for nutrients from her food to bring
health to her, and for rest and peace for all of
you during this difficult time.

As we go about our daily works little Abby is fighting for her life, every second of everyday. We don't understand why Abby is sick, but we do know that You will provide all that is needed for us all, and that you love Abby even more than we do. You know we are weak, especially when it comes to our children, so Father, i ask you to please please take Abby's pain away, let her white cell count come back up to fight all the infection in her little body, give her peace Lord when she is scared, give her parents the strength and comfort they need to be bale to stay strong and care for Abby, give the Dr.s and nurses a better understanding of what to do for Abby, we trust you Lord, you are the great physician, we need you Lord, please God come upon the scene in her room and hold little Abby close to you. We lifted sweet Abby up in prayer tonight during our family Bible study. Our kids know that even though we don't personally know you or Abby, we believe in the power of prayer and want to lift your spirits as well.
