Abby is having an allergic reaction to some antibiotics. I am going to the hospital now to join Michelle and Sami. Landis is with friends.
This is just the beginning of this chapter. Abby is enduring a lot even now, and she has barely begun what is to come over the next week or two.
Please pray for her. Please ask others to pray.

Poor, sweet Abby. Praying hard that she gets over this horrible hurdle. It is so hard to see the children suffer. She is so brave.
(I thought it coincidental...my boyfriend now of 6.5 years met via Match.com while I was in the process of adopting my son, Nico, from Guatemala. I figured he would high tail it when he came home, but nope, we stayed together and I went on to adopt Luca as a single mom (with his full backing and cooperation and support). Luca came home in August 08. I couldn't ask for a better DADDY for my boys.)

Praying hard for sweet Abby she is so brave with all she has endured. Her smile just melts my heart. I have been following your story for a while just never commented. Not a day goes by that I do not pray for this precious girl. I pray for you and Michelle for God to give you strength and guidance to deal with this day to day battle which is difficult in itself but you guys do it with such grace and faith. Abby is so remarkable as are your other children. Thank you for sharing her story and I will continue to pray for God to bless your family.

Dear Riggs family,
I lurked for a couple of weeks but really wanted to let you know that you have one more prayer far away in Germany. I am moved by Abby and your whole family. I gave up on all sweets for lent for her and keep telling everybody about your blog. I so liked the idea of letting Abby shave Brents head. She is a special girl and you are a special family.
