Abby’s infection is getting much worse on her stomach. Her stomach is no so swollen that you can see the veins in her skin. She look very “pregnant”. It’s getting very concerning. Very concerning.
Sami and Landis are going to friend’s house for the weekend, Garrett to his grandmother’s so that I can go and stay at the hospital for a while.
Abby continues to be unable to fight infection, having fevers and in constant pain. It’s very disheartening. Thank you for your prayers and kindness to us.
We’ll keep you updated on the blog. We'll try to put up a more detailed post later this evening.

I have no good words. You surely did for me tonight though. Except for the worse news on Abby. I only know (and you have helped me and many in this area - thought it seems many already had the faith) - But, I am one growing - and I KNOW you all will be "taken care of". It is His will. Thank you so much again for the update and for reminding me in your Question and Answer blog about what His will is. My 'story' is quite different from yours, though I have felt a terrible flood of 'death' through the losses I am suffering. But they are man-made losses, and I am fighting for them. I have my FAITH. I hate the cowardly acts of Sin through legal means. I hate that. I don't know if this makes sense. I feel that is Not God's way and will someday be reconciled with. Your situation, however, is dealing with the graces and sin of sickness. I still don't know how you do it. I do know "why"... The main thing is, I am diligently praying for Abby. Thank you, and I hope you feel as blessed as you should feel. I worry about Abby, but know she will be 'fine'. I have no idea if that is selfish or not...(?) But I am thankful right now that I can just 'release' anything I 'want' to to your blog and to you. (If not, that's fine too). I am a very understanding person, but I realize some other people are Not. I hope to get the extra push I need to understand "why" (since mine relates to my children also!) and I hope you get and have everything you need and "want" in this earth...for now, and for eternity. Thank you?? Blessings!! (P.S. How does one react to God's Will when it comes to other human beings who are just our equal, actually Causing the bad in one other's life? Like, when the other person involved in a situation doesn't understand that what they are doing is "wrong" or is "sin", or "not what Jesus would do." What then? Will that person be 'punished' or do we just 'accept it'? PSS. You are inspirational. Of course, my Goodness - so is Abby...blessed. I hope someday to be able to make a difference for one person (other than my own children - which is always my first obligation) in my life. But I truly have suffered for my life too. It's horrible (but acceptable, in some ways), knowing God's will and ways. But, thank you, again. (sorry, got a little long here.)

I'm so sorry to hear this. Abby has been heavy on our hearts ALL day long. Sophie has talked about her non-stop since she woke up this morning, telling everybody she has come across during our errands, "Please pray for my friend Abby. She has cancer and a purple tongue." I spent the whole day not knowing whether to cry or crack up. Seriously, "cancer and a purple tongue"...all in one breath, like everyone would know perfectly well what she was talking about.

I wanted to ask, what about the shot you mentioned a few days ago? I believe you said there was a painful shot that would stimulate her immune system. Have they given it to her? It seems she is already in a lot of pain. Wouldn't that help get her body fighting?
