Laughter Still on Vacation Tuesday

Just not feelin' Laughter Lives Tuesday this week while still dealing with all this hospital stuff.

Not depressed, or joyless, far from it... just too tired to do a good job on Laughter Lives, so I'd rather skip it this week.

We have some new pics, videos and updates on Abby that we'll be putting up throughout the day.

Blessings,
Brent

Go to bed! Get some rest! Don't worry about us readers ... we will survive without Laughter Lives.

Hoping the Lord brings more laughter back into your life this next week.

May God Bless You all and give you strength to make it through today! Rest and know that you are lifted up by many around the world. Abby - fight, fight with all your might! If smiles could make those nasty guys go away you would have won the battle many many moons ago. God Bless You ALL!

I have to say that I am really glad you are not doing anything but focussing on your little girl. Hopefully, laughter will live IN that hospital room.
We're thinking of you, Abby!

I read on Bring the Rain that someone attacked Angie for her blog and her motives. Angie didn't show the post but it sure sounded like the same person spewing venom at her too. How sad!

Praying for Abby and your family!

Praying lots of prayers for Abby. I hope the biopsy produces some quick information for healing her stomach.

Here's a groan'r for you...

Little Johnny was in church with him mom for Sunday Mass when he suddenly felt nauseous.
"Mom, I think I'm going to throw up!"
She told him, "I want you to run outside as fast as you can. Go across the lawn and behind the bushes. You can throw up behind the bushes and nobody will see you."
So Little Johnny ran for the door. Less than a minute later, he returned to his seat next to his mom. He had the look of obvious relief on his young face.
"Did you make it, Johnny?"

"I didn't have to go that far, mom.
Just as I got to the front door, I found a box that had a sign on it: FOR THE SICK."

I was thinking of your sweet girl this morning. I pray for her often. I can only imagine the pain she is going through and how hard it must be for you as a parent to see her like that. Your blog has allowed me to learn and grow and to remember what is truly important in life. Thank you for sharing your lives with us all.

Hey, guys, don't worry about us. We'll be here after you get some rest. We can even follow the Abby updates on Twitter, if you're not feeling up to doing a "real" post.

Praying you get some sweet zzzzzzzzz's. Love you guys.

I just read the RN's comment, and feel sympathy for her - she obviously doesn't know what it's like to be part of the Family of God - what it's like to be able to share joys and sorrows and carry each other's burdens. The fellowship of believers when going through the valleys is just a tiny foretaste of what heaven will be like. I'm praying for Abby and for you - her family.

Hi there. I heard about Abby from a friend.

I have read the last few blogs-& you bet I am praying.

What an inspiration and a ministry you have here for families & kids going through the same thing!!!

I am familiar w/leukemia-but the not the type that hits kids.

My dad has struggled to live having leukemia. But he is. He was at a major Cancer center in NYC which gave him a death sentence.

They gave him 6 months to live due to *SEVERE* ITP. He went home to die. He didn't.

You see, people started praying. Really praying. Slowly my dad's platelets rised. Slowly-the "neutropenia" went away.

His DRs could not explain his turn around...medically. I could explain it though and I did.

It was God's response to prayer. It was God's power. God's healing. God's love. God's miracle.

I am praying for the same miracle for Abby. May Our Lord raise her WBC's RIGHT NOW and her platelets as well! God-please heal ABBY now! Let her parents see improvements NOW!

Abby is a doll and I love the purple tongue!

BTW, my dad was sent home to hospice almost 2 years ago. His leukemia is in remission so to speak. Although he struggles with his platelets. He is on a brand new drug called N-plate. It has been the brand new miracle drug for those with ITP.

Again, thank you sharing your's and Abby's story.

All of you are a true inspiration!

We are blessed to have come across your blog, You guys are doing a Great job taking care of that little angel. My Mom was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma Cancer ( cancer of the bone marrow) in January. If you could pray for her We would greatly appreciate it. She is a wonderful Christian woman.
This has become a verse that has meant alot to myself and my family in the last few months.
Jeremiah 29:11 " For I know the plans, "I have for you" declares the Lord, Plans to prosper you, not to harm you, Plans to give you a hope and a future.
God Bless you Abby!!! and your Wonderful Family! We are praying for you.
