Please Email Some Encouragement: Sage Eldredge

Would you take a minute to email some encouragement (note, prayer, scripture, well wish, etc.) to the Sage Elderedge family?

Here's a snapshot of the request:

This morning they went to get their 8 month old son, Sage, from his crib and take him to Crystal (Mom) to be nursed. Spencer (Dad) found Sage was not breathing. He rushed him to their bedroom where he began CPR. He continued CPR until medics arrived and were able to take over.

We are saddened to say that little Sage passed away. The first responders were kind enough to allow Teele to bring Sage down stairs after they had completed their investigation and let the family hold him one last time.

You can find his blog here: http://spencer-crystal5.blogspot.com/

Post Via Email:

Post encouragement for Sage's family on our Prayers & Encouragement Blog by sending an email to: brent143.sage@blogger.com

Put "Eldredge" in the SUBJECT LINE.

I wish you would have given a warning about the very disturbing picture on the blog. I wasn't expecting to see that and it tore my heart out. It's going to take a while to get that image out of my mind.

I visited the site for Sage and thank you for asking us to do so and to pray for this family.

Yes, the pictures broke my heart, but also gave me a chance to thank God for all His wonderful blessings in my life. I know that even though I have health problems there are so many in this world that have things so much worse than I do. So I am thankful and blessed.

Sage will be remembered in many hearts and prayers.

The exact same thing happened to my baby brother Max. He was eight months old as well, and perfectly healthy. I'll never understand it as long as I live. My heart and prayers go out to this family.

Michelle,
Thank you for leaving a comment on my blog. It is very amazing how our God works and connects His family together. My daughter and I have been praying for your Abby every night. We saw your story on another blog and read about Abby months ago. My daughter has had a very special place in her heart for Abby and every night at prayers she asks for prayers for Abby. We will continue lifting up Abby at the throne of God every night!

Aha, I went to Sage's site again today and wondered why the picture was gone...I see some people were whinging about it. It was NOT disturbing, it was incredibly moving and powerful. My god you people who have to attack everything, including a family who suddenly lost a baby???????? You must want to tear your hair out over these people Brent!!! I guess this blog is a test of your patience and forgiveness, because it makes my blood boil what some people say.

Marie - I believe your comment was directed at me. I was NOT attacking anyone when I made the comment about the picture. I just said I wish there had been a warning. I lost a baby under similar circumstances and seeing that picture hit me hard because I was not expecting to see it. I would never, ever criticize the famly at a time like this. I don't know why the picture was gone but I'm sure it had nothing to do with me. Perhaps you judge too quickly.
