I went everywhere trying to understand how this charge made any sense at all, but began to figure that in this world or political correctness and all the other "interesting" things that are happening, it was certainly possible for "them" to accuse one who stands strong for Christ of this accusation. Certainly much of Christ's teaching are extremely odious and are cause for much if not all of the content in Fox's Book of Martyrs.
I am relieved after spending 30+ minutes trying to find out how this was going down.
Your photo-shop work is superlative. Wish I had 1/10th you skills. Very good.
Hopefully this will never happen but if it does I also hope most if not all of us of us will hold fast to the teachings that come forth so readily from your life.

When I got the notification of an urgent message, I was concerned. Then when I saw that I was being redirected, I figured this was a celebration of the day. I was sort of on the lookout. Today is also my son's birthday, so we're aware of the day - weeks in advance actually! ;-P

I love a good joke but personally I think that very poor taste. I saw the first page with the Blogger redirect and thought "wow...this family's testimony is really going down the tubes." I've heard from others who get to your blog from mine and they started to doubt your story. How sad for Abby if people stopped praying for her to get better because they think you are some sort of con artist. The sad fact is some people scam others by pretending to have sick kids. Its disgusting but people like that are out there. A number of people thought that about you after your post.

I gotta say that I'm cautious (read skeptical) of things, so I wasn't taken in by your April Fool's joke, but I appreciated it. I thought it was well done. I came back today and decided to comment after reading that readers some were offended. As other readers have commented, I too can't understand, unless the offended people were joking back - though it didn't sound like that at all, how some people can't laugh in the middle of extremely challenging times. God made laughter, and laughter has always been a way I relieve stress. It's not always appropriate, but in a long-term trial, there's plenty of room for laughing and being silly. So, there's my two cents for the day (after).

Brent, as much as I love you guys I have to say that this was not well recieved by me. Some jokes are funny yes, however talking about being jailed and your blog removed, not funny at all.
I hate to sound like a party pooper, but this didnt sit well with me. Especially during some really difficult times for many people in the blogging world.

When I got the notification of an urgent message, I was concerned. Then when I saw that I was being redirected, I figured this was a celebration of the day. I was sort of on the lookout. Today is also my son's birthday, so we're aware of the day - weeks in advance actually! ;-P

I love a good joke but personally I think that very poor taste. I saw the first page with the Blogger redirect and thought "wow...this family's testimony is really going down the tubes." I've heard from others who get to your blog from mine and they started to doubt your story. How sad for Abby if people stopped praying for her to get better because they think you are some sort of con artist. The sad fact is some people scam others by pretending to have sick kids. Its disgusting but people like that are out there. A number of people thought that about you after your post.
I've officially lost a lot of respect for you. I'm sure someone as smart as you could have come up with a better April Fool's joke.

FYI - I JUST got my Abby t-shirt and I LOVE IT! I wore it to the YMCA today and when I really didn't want to keep movin' I saw her sweet face and thought - if she can fight like she has - I can push my rear end up over this bench again and again and again. "Odious versification" ??? That sounded so bogus that I knew it had to be a joke. But.... I will admit that the first picture made my heart skip a beat.
Don't you wish you could look at this whole past year and be able to say "April Fools", it is all a big joke and that Abby really doesn't have anything wrong? But then all of us wouldn't have grown to love Abby and your family the way we have.

I gotta say that I'm cautious (read skeptical) of things, so I wasn't taken in by your April Fool's joke, but I appreciated it. I thought it was well done. I came back today and decided to comment after reading that readers some were offended. As other readers have commented, I too can't understand, unless the offended people were joking back - though it didn't sound like that at all, how some people can't laugh in the middle of extremely challenging times. God made laughter, and laughter has always been a way I relieve stress. It's not always appropriate, but in a long-term trial, there's plenty of room for laughing and being silly. So, there's my two cents for the day (after).
