SAMI GONE WILD: Hannah's Hollywood Directing Debut

Sami loves taking pictures. We got her a little inexpensive digital camera a few months ago that also takes videos. Today when we were dumping the memory card, we found a little "treasure" we wanted to share with you. Ladies and gentlemen, without further adieu, may we present...

Almost Teenage Ethiopian Girl With a New Camera Gone Wild:

She may dislike you one day for this one. All of the kids are cute and this is a very cute video of an almost teenager acting very much like a "now" teenager. Abby has come so far since this was taken of her (praise God).

That is absolutely fantastic!
I love hearing her sweet voice!
Her accent reminds me so much of W's when she first came. Isn't it amazing how rapidly they pick up a second language?
I think she thinks you are one nice Mommy :)
What a faithful God to bring ya'll together!
W. loves Hannah Montanna too. I think she and Sami/Hannah would enjoy each other's company :)
what a star!
Thanks for sharing another of your beautiful children!

That was HILARIOUS...Sami may come to regret making that one day!! What a shy and retiring young lady. I love her accent, so American one minute then more African the next. I had wondered if she chose Hannah because of Hannah Montana...Sami is such a nice name, I hope she decides to keep using Samrawit to keep her heritage and keep Sami as her anglicised name instead of changing it.

Very cute, thanks for sharing!

OK that is precious!!!!!

Not sure she will like that later - but FUNNY!

I love their accents when they first come home and as they transition to English!

This just warmed my heart as you both know we are waiting to bring home our newest blessing - a 12 yr old girl!

Oh I can't wait to watch her blossom like Hannah has!

Love to you both!
Prayers continue for Abby. Who by the way looks so cute in the videos and has certainly come a long way since them!

What a riot Hannah/Sami is on her screen debut! She is a natural! Watch out Hannah Montana. What stage presence and personality. And Abby and Landis are an amazing pair too.

Hope everyone is feeling better.

Wow!! I think this is the first time she has come across as an 11 year old and not an 11 year old going on 22 year old!! How DELIGHTFUL she is!! : )

I haven't been on your blog in a while, but I saw a picture of Abby over on Laurel's blog and I wanted to say, "Abby, your hair is looking so cute!!!"

That is AMAZING! Hannah is such a sweet heart with such a big personality, she is obviously blossoming in your family, and her new life here in America! What a precious "almost" teenager you have! I enjoyed every moment of the video. Landis and Abby were absolutely adorable! I think Landis could crack me up for hours just with his little facial expressions, and Abby's sweet voice melts my heart!

I love it! You can still see that youthful innocence about her and just how much love she has for her family. You are going to have thousands of people showing up one day to see Michelle and all we'll be able to say is that "Sami invited us!"
