Day Five was much slower paced. We were TIRED. We went to Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios.
We saw dinosaurs, a fantastic 3D bug show, rode some fun rides and just enjoyed a nice cool day. We went back to the Village about dinner time, played with the kids for a little while then got the kids to bed about 9:30pm.
I started messing with photos and here I am at 2am putting up this post... partly because I can't quit thinking about it, and partly because I don't want to get up at 4am to do it. I love getting up early but I'm going on a week straight of 3-5 hours a night sleep after walking all day long. Getting a little weary. We are getting up at 7am today for our last full day of theme parks. I'll be tired, but it's the last day we'll be pushing hard. Next week will be much more relaxed.
Abby has discovered the "magic phrase that pays"... she picked up on us saying stuff about wishes coming true ("Make a Wish") and has decided during her wish trip this week, anytime she says "I WISH for..." that of course, it MUST come true. Tonight she WISHED for a big bowl of chocolate ice cream (I think Michelle kind of planted that one subliminally). So below, you'll see the chocolate ice cream wish pics.
Day Five Pics & More
About half of these are from earlier days because we didn't have as much opportunity to take photos today.

At Animal Kingdom... the caves and sides of the "mountains"
had animals and bugs carved in them. The detail is amazing.

At the Village, Abby gets a hug from the Mayor's wife.

Sami has been wonderful. She is the best big
sister in the world, always caring for the babies and caring for them.
She's going to be a fantastic mother some day.

Getting ready to ride the flying dinosaurs at Animal Kingdom.

Landis looks up to see a giant Brontosaurus overhead.
He never quite got used to it all and several times got really scared.

Mt Everest on the Florida horizon. Amazing how that snow
doesn't melt even in 90 degree heat.

Another psycho ride Maria, Sami and Garrett went on.
Once again I sacrificed my own fun to stay behind and watch the babies.

The picture doesn't do this justice. It's about a 50 feet drop at 70-80 miles an hour.

I might have to get my lawyer involved because I did not sign
any releases for them to use a statue of me on the monkey island.
(whatever you immediately assumed I was talking about says
alot about your opinion of me, huh?)

Walking into Hollywood Studios...

A few minutes later Ms. Narcoleptic was doing one
of her world famous "I can sleep anywhere" siestas.
The day before, she fell asleep on a flatbed stroller with
her head between her knees, no lie.

Abby exercised her magic "I wish..." spell and wished
for "all the ice cream I can eat." We had to grant the wish,
that's the RULE on our Make A Wish Trip. :)

Oh baby, that's good. On Make A Wish trips, the wish kid
even gets a pass on proper table manners once in a while.

Abby knew she should take advantage of the opportunity...
a mountain mouthful of ANYthing wouldn't happen at home.

And now the cleanup...

Landis does his best Tiger Woods and really
studies his upcoming putt from every angle.

The babies on the big yellow Stegodude...

Hannah gets in on the action.

We were playing putt putt golf on the Dino-Course. Walking down
the 2nd hole, this innocent looking dino-decoration let's
out a roar and spits (water) on you! Hannah SCREEEEEAAAAMMED!!!!

Some big galoot pushing Spidey and Wish Kid around.

Princess Jasmine dubbed Landis "little monkey" and he
lived up to his tag on the playground across from our cottage.

The kids have to ride the carousel every day. It's right
outside where we eat, so we have carousel for dessert.

Abby loves the carousel and wants to ride it over and over.

Sami too... isn't she beautiful?

SpideyLandis rocks the bear boat. These are all
FREE ride-toys at the Village.

Give Mickey a ride... make sure Mickey is safe... give Mickey a kiss.

Landis was in hog heaven on the playground. So many
things to climb, slide down and run across.

See the apprehension in Landis' eyes? At this point (2nd day)
he still was not completely sure the giant dogs, mice and rabbits were "pretend".

Jasmine was so sweet and attentive to Abby. It really was a wish come true.

"Hmm... I thought girls were gross but I
could get used to hangin' out with this princess chick."

One last hug for Abby from Princess Jasmine.

So nice to see Abby enjoying her Make A Wish trip to Disney!! I am a volunteer wish granter with MAW and I just love seeing the photos of much fun the kids are having! Did you know that the Give Kids The World Village was founded by a Jewish Holocaust survivor? Yep, He provided the whole property to MAW for FREE. How incredibly wonderful is that! We learned that in our orientation class at MAW training.
Keep having a blast!! lots of fun memories to last a lifetime for sure!
Brent and Michelle - I'm lovin' the updates! We are having so much fun seeing all of you laughing!!!!
I love the shot of Hannah screaming - LOL!
Disney says:
A wish is a dream your heart makes...
God says when we delight ourselves in Him, He will give us the desires of our heart!
How wonderful to see His word in action day after day after day!
Lots of love and blessings,
Jill
