Parenting Questions
Except for a couple of commenters who labeled me a "self important blathering know-it-all", I've received a lot of interest in parenting questions and topics. Many have emailed me and asked me if I have any parenting books in the works. Actually I've had on my "future books" list titles like: "Parenting Wars" a series covering phases or events in parenting like toddlerhood, dinner time, bed time, taking children out in public, the teen years, etc.
Since there was so much interest, I thought would put up a Question MckLinky and let readers submit questions or topics. If I get enough, I may write a book specifically about parenting, or I may include it in the "Mind of Brent" series.

Brent - it is so sad to see idle people showing just how foolish they can be. Guess God hasn't given them enough to worry about.
Sorry people just can't seem to stop judging and live the way they wish to be treated!
How about we all give this a try - learn from one another and love each other the way Christ loves us? Doesn't that sound like a good idea?

So hard to see how anyone could 'trash' your family! Seems like they must be people in need of something... something must really be missing in their lives for them to turn ugly tounge's on you. I wonder if it is as simple as the love of Jesus living in their hearts each day.... could that be what they need to see and be happy?

I am sorry that you are experiencing criticism and meanness. Having pastored for many years we have pondered the motivation behind criticism for many years. Bottom line as we see it? We are convinced that all nasty criticism is rooted in sin, most often jealousy. Your ministry(blog) have many followers, a magazine and lots of people who love you......no wonder they "hate" you!! Ignore their nastiness...they are trying to "engage" you and its NOT worth it!! Praying God's grace and TRUTH rule your hearts...
