I MUST shamelessly plug Jill's book. Go check it out here... hundreds of pages of GREAT health information. I found it so interesting I've read it a couple of times already. It doesn't matter how old you are. I'll encourage and support anyone who wants to join me. I'll be putting a daily update on the blog, and you have my permission to absolutely hound me and chew my butt out if I do not stick to my commitments. You'll see some MckLinky lists below that will grow over time and benefit us all. If you have friends and family who need to get healthy, tell them about this post, and invite them to join us on this journey.

Yesterdaily Update

Date: Wednesday, January 20, 2010
Weight loss since Jan 18th, 2009: 6.0 lbs.
Body Fat: 26%
Muscle Weight: 37.6 lbs.
Visceral Fat %: 22%

Did I stick to *diet yesterday? Yes
Comments about eating: Tuna; oranges and apples; salad with carrots and green peppers, vinaigrette; grill chicken; coffee.

Exercise yesterday? Yes
Comments about exercise: Half hour P90X in the morning with BowFlex; 1 hour elliptical at night; all with 140 heart rate maintained.

Thanks for holding me accountable on my diet and exercise. I need to lose about 70 pounds overall.

*Diet: Proteins, veggies, fruits, raw foods. Violations are sugar, white flours, processed food, overeating or bad eating.

I started on Jan 12. I use the 'Lose It' app on my iTouch and love it. I keep track of everything on it, my weight, my food, and my exercise. I'd like to lose about 16 pounds...I know that sounds like a strange number but that's the weight on my driver's license :) Does anyone ever change that when they renew their license and they've gained weight? I sure don't.
