Colt McCoy & SeriousLife Magazine

From Brent

Yesterday, I wrote on my other blog about Colt McCoy. He was remarkable last night in his post game interview. He displayed a maturity and attitude FAR beyond his years. He was truly a Christian example to be proud of.

Colt would make a perfect cover story for SeriousLife Magazine. Does anyone out there reading this know him? Anyone have any inside contacts or know how I could contact him?

Wish I did. Don't know when I've ever seen anyone more authentic than he was in his post-game interview. Despite the injury and frustration he was dealt, he was gracious and preached it without making a show of it. Love him.

Hi Brent, my son is a huge Texas fan and I was also so impressed by Colt's postgame interview. I would love to see him on the cover of Serious Life! I don't know him, but wish I did. What an amazing example he is for my son. Can't wait to find out if you get in touch with him!

I thought the very same thing when I heard him being interviewed. I hope you can get in touch with him.

God bless you, your family and your ministry.

You've been an amazing example of grace through trials. Thank you for sharing.

Colt and Sam Bradford are really good friends and communicate on a regular basis. You might contact Sam to get Colt's cell #.

Brent: If you would come over to my blog www.walkman4.blogspot.com for a visit and leave your contact info. I can get a letter to Colt or Brad for you. I too think it would be great for him to be in your magazine. Thank you for the kind words about him. A. Walker

I am not really much of a football fan, but I was SO impressed with the humility of this young man and I wanted to know more. Wow! My kids saw that interview too and I was so happy. What a class act!

My best friend's son played football for Colt's dad. They still live in the same town. I can see if she would be willing to help.
