Anticipating Red Carpet and Limos

Tomorrow (Friday) is Abby's big day. Hopefully we will be able to forget about all things medical and enjoy the moment.

Abby was invited to be a artist for the "Art with a Heart" art show. Abby, along with other cancer kids, donated their artwork to be auctioned off for a cancer charity. They will arrive at the Museum in a limo and walk down a red carpet. No parents by their side, just kids and volunteers. Abby can't wait! She has asked me when it was going to be time to go at least a hundred times today.

Please pray that Abby is healthy enough to attend this special event. A fever of 101 will derail our evening and we will have to spend it in the ER. Those of you who have been following Abby for a while have seen this happen many times in the last couple of years on important dates, including the art show last year. Abby has had low grade fever for the last few days. Hopefully it will stay low enough to keep us out of the hospital.

Thanks for praying for the wishes and dreams of a five year old girl.

That's so sweet! I'm secretary of non-profit org Art With Heart, oddly enough...we do similar events in my area, as you know.

I hope Abby has an absolutely wonderful time. Can't wait to see pictures!

We hope last night was as Abby hoped and dreamed it would be. Would we be able to view the art work of the children on a website? Hannah is such a sweet sister to Abby. What a blessing!

Ask and you shall receive ;-) I'm saying a special prayer for Abby's fever to stay low enough that she can go to the art show right now.

In the name of Jesus, I claim complete eradication of fever from Abby's body, that she will feel better than she has in a long while, and be able to attend this event and have a blast. Satan, I command you to get your hands off her body in every way! You have NO AUTHORITY over her body--she belongs to Jesus and she is more than a conqueror! Jesus, bless this precious family today and in the coming days, and please extinguish all fiery darts that come their way before they reach them. In Jesus' name,

Amen

Praying for amazing Abbie as always. Praying for no fever and lots of energy and creativity and fun. Praying that for just a few hours she feels like a princess and a "normal" cancer-free kid.
Looking forward to seeing pictures or their masterpieces. Actually, each of these precious children are God's masterpieces.
Love and hugs and prayers,
Debi

I hope and pray that things worked out for Abby to attend the art show...and avoid the hospital. I pulled up your site today to show my granddaughter, Madison, a picture of Abby. Imagine our surprise when we saw the picture of Abby holding the Pooh that I sent her! Thanks for posting that pic and making our day. Blessings and prayers from both of us, Kathy
