It's one of those classes "Twister" nights in Oklahoma... sunny skies for the moment but a tornado warning 15 miles from here and headed our way...
Every spring we deal with this... still better than earthquakes and hurricanes.

It looked like it was heading our way, but it took a turn and missed us here in Stillwater. It's headed toward our family in southeast Oklahoma now. Keep them in your prayers.

I've lived in Oklahoma my entire life and this is by far my least favorite time of year.

oh my! sounds terrible! will certainly pray for your family's safety, brent.
but, i disagree, i would rather experience an earthquake (live in southern california) than a tornado any day! i'm so used to them that most often i don't feel them. only the bigger ones. and the only really scary thing about the bigger ones is wondering...is this one going to be the big one?
i couldn't bear to hear a torado approaching. it sounds like i would be frightful! and to see a deadly black cloud approaching you with things being picked up and whirled around in the black wind tunnel like they were weightless and then tossed out miles from where they were ripped up from is something really horrific to me.
i will pray for our Lord to keep you all safe from harms way.
