From Michelle:
Thank you for praying while we were in the midst of the storm. I used to love storms but after all of the drama we have been through with Abby, I crave peace and calm. Please pray for the families of the people who lost their lives in the tornado tonight.
The storms have passed, our family is together again but we are still without power. Abby's oxygen monitor has been alarming off and on for the last few nights. With the power off, we can't monitor Abby's oxygenation while she sleeps (battery will only last a little while). I would feel more comfortable having the monitor on but I trust God to watch over Abby.
As I finished typing the last sentence our power came back on. God is so good.
How is Abby really doing? That is a tough question. Her neurologist increased a couple of her medications so she is very tired and pushing herself hard to do the things she wants to do.
Abby is complicated medically. Her team of doctors have worked incredibly hard to take care of her. Unfortunately, mistakes have been made. Please pray for us as we deal with the errors and work with her doctors to prevent them from occurring again. Please pray for wisdom and healing as we deal with this issue.
Abby has averaged going to school one day a week this year. She has a lot of work to do in order to catch up and no energy to do it. Abby's white blood cell count has been high enough to go to school for a week now. Last week was the only week this year where Abby was able to attend school every single day. Abby was thrilled to get to go to school like the other kids. There are only a few days left in this school year. I would love for her to get to go to them all.

Thank You God for this families safety & please watch over the other families who have lost loved ones. In Jesus Name. Amen!
So grateful to wake & see this update & that Abby has made a full wk of school... that is Wonderful news!!!
It's not a bad thing if Abby repeats this class next school yr. She'll just meet even more children! :-) (I & several others did that ourselves at her age)
Whatever the "issues" are I pray they are taken care of! Hugs
Love, Peace, Hope,

In case the power goes out again or for the future contact your power company and they should have a form for you to fill out so that your power is one of the first to be worked on due to you having medical equipment.
Oh Michelle,
I've been praying for all of you and anxiously awaiting an update! I'm so sorry about the errors. I pray for wisdom for all of those involved as they make decisions for precious Abby's care! Sam (Hannah's mom)
I pray Abby Gets to go to every day of school left this year, and the next, and the next, and the next... etc... :)
My Abby and I pray for your Abby. We had to deal with the same storms that you did yesterday. We were even in the storm shelter last night with a tornado being 2 miles north and one two miles south of us. Pretty scary indeed.
Hi Michelle and Brent--
Glad to hear you are all safe--USA Today covered the storms and it looks like your area was hit hard. Thankful that your family and home are all safe.
I'm so happy Abby was able to do a full week of school!!! Don't worry about her being behind--my daughter repeated a grade due to illness and it was the best blessing for her. God has a plan for Abby's education and whatever that plan is it is the BEST--(I think I learned that from one of your teachings Brent : )
I'm praying about the errors made (that they have no lasting effects.) Praying also for the knowledge for you and the doctors to keep Abby safe in treatment, with many complicating factors.
Thank you for the update.
Blessings,

so thankful that you all were unharmed during the storms. it's been a tough spring for storms and flooding.
will be praying that abby can stay in school through the remainder of the year. what a sweet blessing that will be!
praying for you and daddy, too!
I am hoping that the "mistakes" have something to do with the recent problems she has had, and if they aren't repeated she won't have those problems again...certainly keeping you all in my prayers.
Hey Daddy and Mia,
Please call me, I am really worried about how everything turned out and I can't get through to you guys. I love you.

Thank God for bringing the power back so you could monitor Abby's oxygenation levels. I know that is scary and you probably weren't able to sleep at peace.
And, that's great that she was able to make it to school everyday. I just know that she wants nothing more that to be a kid and do the things most kids get to do (as was the case with my cousin). I bet she catches up in no time.
somehow i forgot about school for abby. i am so glad she was able to go.
glad everyone is doing ok
