We got a message today with some updated information on Julianna Wiseman, a long time serial scammer... just want to keep you updated so she doesn't fool you:
Hi all, just a note to let you know that crazy sociopath Juliana Wiseman has resurfaced. She is going by "Juli Law", and using a new e-mail address, goldenretrieverenterprises@...
If you hear from her, do not be swayed to believe she is interested in adoption, and especially do not believe her if she offers to help you with your adoption costs. She is a total fraud and any messages from her should be blocked from your e-mail.

Hey Brent, I received a letter in the mail from her on Saturday!! I do m ission workin GUA and she found my blog but I recognized the name from the adoption forum. Such a shame for someone to get away with this!!
Thanks Brent. It's sad that some people have nothing better to do than create fake lives on the internet. Appreciate the warnings because I tend to be one who is very trusting by nature.

Wow, that is just scary and sad that someone would continue to manipulate families this way. It sickens me that she contacts these families and then pulls the rug out.
You know what I think we should all pray for her. Truly pray that she faces what she's doing and finds the only thing that can save her...Christ. She's lost and that is so very sad.
A suggestion for those fundraising for adoption...talk to your adoption agency. They may be willing to let people donate (specifically for your family) through them. This avoids giving even a possible scammer any connection to you.

Is there no government agency that can be contacted to stop this woman from doing this? I love the freedom of the internet but I sure don't like all the illegal things that are being done on it.

I'm having a hard time understanding why can't she be stopped? Is it that she isn't doing anything "illegal" per the law?? she sounds like a sick, sick woman.

Thank you for posting about Julianna and warning other families! It is because people like you care enough to post a warning that I did not get scammed. She contacted me as well, but it sounded too good to be true so I googled her and found your site - and many others. I immediately went back and deleted the email and blocked her. If other don't care enough to warn - then it does not help others - so thank you! Just wish I knew what adoption group she got my info from so I could go to the moderator.
She just contacted me today claiming to want to adopt my 4 children for Christmas and 2 have birthdays in December so she wanted to help with that too. I was so touched it made my cry. Then she started offering too muchso I git suspicious so I Google's her and found your site. Incantations believe she is doing this she got my name taken off the Christmas adoption site and everything now they think I no longer need help. I have never needed help before I have always worked and when I finally ask this is what happens u am crushed.

She is scamming a friend of mine too. She is in touch with a police officer that knows this person. A friend of mine has suggested getting all material together and going to the FBI. This is fraud and mail harrassment which are federal offenses.
Is there an update on how anyone has successfully dealt with this fraudulent lady? I hear that someone else is struggling with her right now and not sure what to do. I remembered your post and came back to see if I could find anything that might help the family. Anyone to contact?

I was also scammed by this person saying she wanted to adopt my family for Christmas. I cried too thinking there was someone out there who cared. I did not ask for this kind of help. I ama disabled, single Mom who posted on craigslist for handyman help that is how she found me. After being let down I did pray for her, at least twice a day. She then continued to try and scam me through the month of January. She endedher harrassment of me by calling the police dept., CPS and child abuse hotline claiming my 13 yr old was being neglected, she emailed Social Security claiming I was a fraud and emailed 2 school disricts here trolling for info on my daughter. I have saved every email. I called a Detective in CA. and also my local police to file charges but have heard back from neither. I feel I got off lucky. I can't believe she has done things to people who only want to love a child, people who wantt to give to children withspecial needs and has caused animals to be killed. I wish all of you God's blessing every day.
