No, we didn't lead the kids up to the edge of a cliff to get a photo. You get that effect by the angle at which you take the shot. It's Photography 101. Or maybe 103. The kids were in perfectly safe spots. We had both comments and phone calls asking us if we stood Abby on the edge of cliff just for a photo. For a photo? Are you kidding? For a hundred bucks and a pizza dinner, that would be one thing. But for a photo, no way.
Caught this rainbow through the car window with my iPhone while driving. My laptop is not my favorite choice (neither is my iPhone) for cleaning up my shots, but this one is still kinda nice. Enjoy!
Here's some more "iPhone & laptop" shots while we were on the road. And just so we can save some time, NO, I wasn't driving while doing the shots and uploading them to the blog... I had Landis driving. But don't worry... Abby was safe and sound riding on top of the van tied to the luggage rack.
Notice the front window tinting at the top of the photo...
if you look close, you'll see some windshield bug guts too.
I left them in there for authenticity.
We are on the way home. This is the scenery we are getting to enjoy.
Photos do NOT capture the real scope of what you see in person.
