The storm came and went. Ma and Pa, Aunt Bernie and both cows are all safe.

Looking northeast as the front edge passes;
the wind was gust 50-60 mph. I usually try to get the poles
out of the photo but the light showed how dark
it got even though the sun was still up.

Looking southwest. See the car lights? That's how dark it got.

This was the start of that cloud lowering...

And this was the lowering at its most organized point.
It fell part a couple of minutes later.

Looks like your storm is headed toward us here in southeast oklahoma. Thanks for the rain, but you were welcome to keep the lightning and hail to yourself. :)

HI Brent,

Wow LOVE the pics
Awesome photos! The last couple have a Wizard of Oz feel to them.
We got a beautiful rainbow after the same storm, unfortunately we didn't see it in time for me to get a picture of it when it was clear.
What a fantastic wall cloud!
Incredible pictures!! Awesome power of our God.
Don't worry, my hubby and father-in-law were sitting in the garage on Father's Day (which is when we had the tornado hit Billings, MT) and they said we had a good funnel almost touch down in the golf course across the street. They didn't come in of course, or take pictures, but you're not the only one out in stuff like that, LOL! I would have been, for pictures, but I had the kids to wrangle.
Searching blogs and was captivated by your pictures of the storm..Hermine I assume since it roared through the Dallas area spawning a few touch down tornadoes. Magnificent skies!
Amazing storm pictures! I've never seen clouds like that.
That is a seriously scary looking storm! Glad you are safe! The photos are amazing though. :-)
