If you haven't read the last post, go do that first, then come back here.

The little princess you voted "I Like" for? You made her day. We started with 34 votes and today there is 567! You guys ROCK!!!
Maybe her year. I didn't feel comfortable sharing why this meant so much to her but her Mom wrote me and wants to share the story with you, so you can be part of the blessing. Here is her note:
As Jessica’s mother I wanted to take a moment to thank Brent, Michelle and their blog friends with all my heart.Isn't she beautiful? Makes you want to go give her another "I Like!" Why don't you? Click here...
My daughter Jessica has been the victim of teasing at school because of her facial difference. When we go out in public she is keenly aware of other children staring at her face.
Jessica is adopted from China and this summer had her first trip to Disneyland. Yesterday she asked if we could send a picture into the Disney memories website – we did and it was published this morning. Jess was thrilled beyond words that not only was her picture on the website but also that TWO whole people liked it – she thought that was the most amazing thing ever.
Last night she looked and 30 people liked it…”Mommy, THIRTY… thirty people like my picture” she was in happy tears. She asked yesterday if she could go to Disneyland on Christmas day…explaining that it could be her birthday AND her Christmas present…well that’s not possible… BUT seeing that so many people like her picture has brought her such joy.
This is not a contest, she doesn’t win a prize or a trip to Disneyland. She is just a little girl very conscious of her lip deformation (from a cleft) and the fact that people like her picture makes her heart sing. They only see the Princess not the broken lip.
Sincerely,
Kathleen

Aww thanks for sharing! I'm going to post it on FB in hopes that my friends make the 2 clicks to make the *year* of this precious princess. Every little girl needs to hear that she is beautiful and one of God's princesses- to help reduce some of the lies we are bombarded with daily!
I think she is absolutely precious, lip and all.
i gave her 2 'likes' this morning. i'm going back for more after reading this!
just ones question - where's the love button??
stacey
This is awesome!!! Makes me smile knowing that we made this little girl smile! I know all to well what it is like to have people stare at you for being "different" I was born with CP and walk with 2 canes. I am praying for this little princess to truly know that she is beautiful and loved princess of the King!
Beautiful! Truly beautiful!!!
I posted a link to this post on my facebook page. Lets get this girl some serious "likes" for her gorgeous smile!!
Michelle
Didn't even notice the lip when clicking the Like button or on the larger one above. She is such a beautriful girl and her true princess qualities are waht I saw.
Very sweet! She is a beautiful little princess and her Father is the King of kings!!! Take that, school bullies!
Oh Kathleen,
My heart breaks for that little princess!!! Why? I also was teased all through my school yrs for being tall & skinny aka "skelton" & later for so many pimples aka "pizza face" & worked as a pizza delivery driver with hair pulled back & the company cap aka "Male" instead of female. There's still days ppl mistake me for a "Male". But today I can say w/o tears, "Thanks, I look like my dad!"
SO, I KNOW what she feels when ppl glare, tease, bully. It HURTS, it plays havic on self-esteem, it's HARD to get over, it hurts deep down inside!!! There's STILL some days it bothers me when someone will say something & I'm FOURTY-SEVEN!
I've a friend with a cleft lip, he's TWENTY-EIGHT, & VERY self conconcious about it. Would you believe, when I look at him, I do NOT even notice it!!!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE reasure her DAILY that she's beautiful bc she IS no matter what her face looks like!!! I just can't stress this enough bc the TEEN yrs get TOUGHER!
And to be honest - I did NOT even notice her disformed cheek until AFTER reading your letter AND getting VERY CLOSE to my screen, literally starring at the princess!!! The beauty of her eyes takes the focus off the check :-) Btw, count is now 904 :-)
Hugs & Love to you both!!!

She is a doll!! I just noticed a beautiful little princess and quickly pressed LIKE! Really should be a LOVE button!! :)
She really is beautiful! Our two youngest sons (both from China) also have a cleft lip and palate. We think they are beautiful too!
Thanks for helping this precious little girl have a nice day!

She is a princess!! I noticed only her beauty and spirit in her eyes..not her lip at all! I had to really focus on the picture after reading your post. More people should see her beauty. I'm sure she's a special little girl. Thanks for sharing <3
So glad I read this yesterday. What is weird is I did not even notice the facial issue.
I did not even notice the cleft lip. I saw a beautiful little girl happy to be a princess for a day. She is also a beautiful little girl in her parents and God's eyes. Perfect just the way she is!
Brent: your family is so cool to think of this. I look at Jessica and just see the beauty God gave her that others can't see! I already love her and don't know her. :-)
AWESOME!!!
Thanks for sharing!!!
