Do You Have a "Victory Over Porn" Story?

I've finished my book on Internet Porn and realized that I've left out a most important part: HOPE. Not completely, but the kind of hope that comes from hearing the real stories of victory from real people is missing.

I want people to finish the book with the highest level of hope and anticipation of victory over the porn problem in their family or marriage. I've given steps, facts, ideas, strategies and advice. The perfect ending would be real stories about marriages, families, churches and individuals who have experienced victory over porn.

Would you send me your story? It can be the whole story, or just an inspiring statement that you have survived porn and so can others. It can be an encouragement that victory is possible, or an entire account that details how you got victory. Whatever you think will give HOPE to those currently being hurt by porn.

Your identity will be completely secret and even if you accidentally put something in your story that might give away a person's identity, I'll remove it.

Send your stories to: brent@brentriggs.com

I'm ready to publish this book RIGHT NOW... so if you could send your stories immediately, I'd love to get yours in the book.

My Love and prayers for Abby. My son also has Leukemia and has one more year of treatment. I blog about it to keep my sanity but I see your blog has more purpose. I will follow it and hope all is good for your family. Merry Christmas.

Ailments on kids is especially hard for the parents. You have a wonderful blog. I have added it to the riggsfamilyblog.com index, so you get more viewers.

I honestly wish a cure for most diseases, and hope our wishes are the same as God's. God bless!

I know a friend of mine from college got through the addiction to Porn... And now he's becoming a pastor. So the victory is there. I don't know that I would be comfortable to ask him about said situation though... I only know from a cardboard testimony he did for school. It's amazing how some sins people shut down and almost see them as unspeakable and hopeless and others are things we can recover from move on and be redeemed! They are all very redeemable. Congratuations on finishing your book! And for attempting to renew hope. May God continue to have His hand on your life.

i don't know why this didn't get published before...I'm sure I screwed it up somehow.

This is a book one of our pastors wrote who struggled with porn and the like. He has since helped many men walk into freedom. Thought maybe you would like to look over it.
