Very touching video below. A recent survey showed an alarming percentage of Americans were not will to give their up their life for something outside themselves.
I can think of many things: my faith, my wife, my family, to defend the weak, to stand for truth... and the list could go on.
If you can't list what you would die for, you don't truly have anything to live for.

Bawling my eyes out. I'm a Katrina survivor and I still have no words for this kind of devastation.
Brent, I thought you would appreciate this video. It truly touched my heart and the hearts of many others. You're right on in your comments. We all should have something worth dying for. Like you said, our faith being Number 1. A hero.
GREATER LOVE HAS NO ONE THAN THIS, THAT HE LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIEND.

I saw this story on the news last week and just bawled my eyes out...I can not imagine losing my husband through an action he took that saved my life. I would do it for him in a second but I couldn't imagine living my life without him if the tables were turned...
I tell him daily that he IS my life and how blessed I am to have him in it...
This is such a touching story, thanks for sharing.
This is so touching, just think how much Jesus loved us.
I am so thankful that Jesus looked around and saw that "we" were worth dying for. I can think of many things that I would give my life for too. I don't think I could say this without having my faith in God.
love and prayers to your entire family.....

CUTE BLOG.......
Your final statement is so poignant, Brent - AND SO TRUE! And I think the flip side to that could be, "If you don't STAND for something, you'll FALL for anything!"

A tragedy means always a man’s struggle with that which is stronger than man.
